These are just a few pictures I took yesterday when I was out and about, today was a gorgeous day and the birds were out happy as can be. Read the rules for our treasure hunt below, please remember today is the LAST DAY to participate! The treasure hunt has been so much fun for us and we hope you have all had fun too. Because of the fun we've had I am happy to announce that there will be another blog to blog Treasure Hunt on June 22nd. This time the subject will be flowers. So, mark your calendars for The Beautiful Flower Treasure Hunt.

OK so I know Mr. Jessie James is NOT a backyard bird, but Mel (WorldOfMoments) asked me to share some pictures of him, for those who don't know Jessie is my sun conure parrot. I will post some more soon but for now here you go. And be sure to check out his website for more pictures and videos, click here.
Start on any of the participating blogs, and go from blog to blog. Comment on each blog to be entered to win 1 ACEO from each blog. Each comment counts as 1 entry. You have until tonight at midnight (technically that is June 13th at 12am EST) to complete the loop.
At the end the week on June 14th the names of the people, who have left COMMENTS and who have COMPLETED the entire Treasure Hunt Loop, will go into a hat to see who the lucky winners will be from each blog.
I will give away a free ACEO to the winner of the drawing for my blog, the winner can choose from any of my images and I will creat an ACEO - printed at home and mounted on acid free mat board OR The winner may choose to wait for a professionally printed ACEO the next time I order. Each participating artist on the Treasure Hunt Loop will do the same thing. Yes, it is possible for you to win more than one ACEO---and all you have to do is have fun looking at beautiful birds.
Here is what you do:
1. Look at the bird photos and comment.
2. At the bottom of the photos you will see a blog link and shop link to the next participating artist on the Treasure Map Loop.
3. Click on the blog link.
4. Go there and look at the photos and comment and go to the next blog and so forth until you have completed the Treasure Map Loop. Again you have until June 13th to complete the loop.
Optional:
1. If you have enjoyed yourselves, tell a friend and send them here to participate. J
2. Visit a shop and have a look around.
*Some of the work shown on our blogs will be listed in our shops and some of the work will not be listed. So if you have any questions, just contact us.*
Participating Artists may be commenting along the Treasure Hunt Loop but we are not eligible to win any prizes.
Thanks so much for participating and good luck.

I love that one of Jessie, Pam. LOL
He is adorable. It makes me want to our and buy one.
Great bird shots. My camera arrives today.:)
Oh, question...did you get the automatic lenses or manual?
Pam, Jessie looks so cute in that picture.
Great bird photography. I know how hard they are to capture with a camera!
Carole - Thank you!
LOL Not sure how your cats would like a bird!
All the lenses are the same, it is on the camera that you choose manual or auto, their is a switch. I use both as some things are just too fast to focus. Use Auto until you are comfterable with your new camera and then you can start learning manual.
I am so excited for you!

Thank you Marlene! :)
Thank you Julie! They sure are hard but they are so much fun to watch!
Great little birds - so glad you included Jessie! My, my - we wouldn't want his nose - ah, beak - out of joint now, would we?
Kathy - Thank you! lol
